Story
This custom furniture suite was designed specifically for the Robelle Domain parkland, as part of the Springfield Lakes residential development. Motivated by the desire for a cost effective and robust solution, the focus of the design was on longevity and ease of maintenance.
Manufactured from folded steel, the production methods made efficient use of materials and processing. The laser-cut patterning cohesively links with architectural details on site, while also acting as a skate deterrents and enhanced water shedding. This suite includes backless bench seats and table settings, with the modular design of the tables allowing for a variety of configurations on site.
All necessary site analysis, product feasibility studies, prototyping and technical documentation were also undertaken by Street & Garden studio during the various design and manufacturing phases of the project.
