Story
Designed in conjunction with Wilson Architects the furniture for the Green Bridge development was intended to be a linking element between the University of Queensland site and the Dutton Park council parklands.
Constructed from stainless steel sections and hardwood timber slats, the large custom bench seats were designed to sit well within both the natural setting of the parklands and within the modern architectural lines of the bridge and bus terminus. This project also utilized many of our existing products previously specified throughout the UQ campus, including bin enclosures, drinking fountains and bollards.
All necessary site analysis, product feasibility studies, prototyping and technical documentation were also undertaken by Street & Garden studio during the various design and manufacturing phases of the project.
