Bulcock Beach Esplanade – 2009

With forms inspired by coastal themes, the main focus of the furniture suite was to encourage the communal use of the site. Motivated by accessability, longevity and ease of maintenance, the material palette for the suite included laser-cut / folded aluminium with anodised surface treatment, stainless steel, and CNC machined hardwood timber. This extensive suite includes a variety of bench seats, table settings, bar settings, bollards, bicycle racks, beach showers and a number of sculptural and signage elements.

Mollymook Beach – 2006

Aspects of the coastal location along with functional considerations became the key elements used to develop the Mollymook designs. Combining laser-cut steel with shaped hardwood timber elements the furniture suite includes platform bench seats, table settings and bin enclosures.

Alexandra Headlands – 2007

Designed for the Sunshine Coast Regional Council, the Pinch Point platform seats have been specifically developed for the board-walk at Alexandra Headlands. The design took direct inspiration from its coastal location, reflecting many aspects of the environment and lifestyle of the popular surfing location.
